3 Hair Goals For 2019 and How To Achieve Them

Now that 2019 is upon us…

It’s time to make some hair resolutions!

We always take the time for food, fitness and fashion resolutions but your hair needs some love too.

So, if you want long locks, or if you want to repair your strands from all the heat-styling and coloring you’ve done this year…

Setting a hair goal is a great way to keep your routine fresh and your hair healthy…

…because there’s nothing like the power and pride you get from beautiful, manageable and shiny hair!

That’s why I want to share with you some common hair goals I’ve been hearing from my L’ange family, and how to attain them.

Grow Your Hair Long

If you want to grow out your hair, to achieve those long and luxurious locks that every woman wants, you have to start with nourishing your roots and maintaining a healthy hair routine first.

For this, I know you’ll love the Réplenish Conditioning Spray.

This lightweight leave-in detangler not only conditions, but adds body and maintains a healthy scalp to encourage growth.

Aloe, chamomile, sage and lemon balm soothe and moisturize the hair as well.

Another great way to aid the growth of hair is utilizing our Smoothe Healing Oil Reparative Treatment.

This is the perfect hair (and all over body!) moisturizer and conditioner.

Applied weekly, it helps prevent breakage by sealing in moisture, strengthening the hair shaft, and improving elasticity.

You’ll be amazed with the softness, shine, and incredible body it gives your strands.

Using both of these game changing products to your arsenal will definitely oomph up your routine and get your hair growing faster.

But don’t forget! There are other things you can do too.

Remember to drink tons of water everyday (at LEAST 10 glasses!), try a 1 minute cold rinse at the end of your shower, and use the proper hairbrush when wet.

You have to treat your hair like it’s spun from gold.

So, something like our Siena Boar Bristle Brush is great for distributing your scalp’s natural oils and is also super gentle on your strands.

Keep this up for at least 6-8 months and you will definitely notice your locks getting long and luscious.

Keep Your Hair Moisturized

The struggle is real.

I know all too well how it feels to have dry hair, and the frustration you get when your newly washed dried hair ALREADY feels crunchy and dull.

So, if your New Year’s hair goal is to keep your locks nourished and moisturized, there are definitely a few things you could do this year to uphold this resolution and see much silkier hair.

Here, your deep conditioning mask will be your best friend.

Our Borago Mask is designed to treat and repair dry, damaged, coarse, and hard to manage hair by nourishing each strand and leaving them visibly healthier, stronger, and shinier.

Infused with borage oil (which contains amino acids and keratin), this unique formula penetrates hair cuticles to treat interior and exterior hair fibers with extra moisture.

For best results, utilize a cold rinse when washing it out of your hair.

Use this once a week for at least 2-4 months and you will see an amazing transformation.

Additionally, remember to try and not wash your hair regularly. When you’re in between washes make sure to use the Déjà Vu Dry Shampoo to keep hair looking fresh and clean.

Also a fan favorite, this spray is not like your typical dense white dry shampoo – it’s totally clear, so you don’t have to worry about that unsightly chalky residue.

Another thing you can do to keep hair moisturized is to cut down on heat styling, as heat naturally sucks out moisture from your hair.

Keep up this routine for at least half the year, and I know you’ll love your newfound silky strands.

Repair Your Hair

When you’ve colored your hair for years, or heat styled it everyday, you will notice a bit of split ends and damage over time.

If you are one of these women struggling with damaged hair and you want your hair goal to be a hard-core repair, then you need to add a couple things to your routine.

First of all, switch up your products to something super beneficial to your strands, like our Heavenly Reparative Shampoo and Célestial Reparative Conditioner.

These two angels contain Coconut Oil, Soy Protein, Rosehip, Lemongrass and Chamomile to soothe the scalp and re-moisturize deprived hair.

If you have harder to manage or super curly and damaged hair, try the intensive La Mane Shampoo and Borago Mask, which I also mentioned before!

Other things you can do to help repair your hair is utilize a silk pillowcase, which helps to keep moisture locked in to your strands at night, along with eating a clean diet full of antioxidant-rich foods like berries and leafy greens.

Keep this up for a minimum of 4 months to see results towards your goal of healthy, rejuvenated locks.

So there you have it!
L’ange always puts your hair first, and I hope you achieve all your hair goals and more for this new year.
