The Unexpected Hair Volumizer From Your Local Pub

The Unexpected Hair Volumizer From Your Local Pub

We’re fast approaching the dog days of summer…

...those hazy, lazy days that can spell disaster for your hair’s volume!

Whether you live in a climate that wallops your hair with white-hot sunshine…

...or surrounded by humidity that weighs down your tresses...leaving them floppy and lifeless…

...this is the time of year when you just can’t take a vacation from maintaining your volume!

“We all love a day out in the sun...but too much can sap your hair of moisture, energy, and life!”

But that doesn’t mean you can’t find volumizing inspiration in some truly far-flung places...

AN UNEXPECTED INDIAN HAIR SECRET

For example, the culture of India has brought daringly different glamour and style to the world for centuries:

Everything from dazzling jeweled and beaded hair accessories...to the intricate, entrancing beauty of mehndi henna tattoos!1

But if it’s an Indian hair volumizer you’re after...you won’t find it in a salon.

In fact, a classic Indian formula for making your hair voluminous is already waiting for you…

...at your neighborhood bar!

POUR YOUR HAIR AN IPA

If you’re a beer drinker...or know someone who is…

...you’ve probably heard of a very popular type of brew known as an IPA, or India pale ale.

A Pint of Beer next to Craft beer bottles

“The rise of craft brewing has made IPAs one of the world’s most popular types of beer.”

Well, here’s the funny thing about IPAs:

They’re not originally from India...but that’s where they became legendary.

You see, IPAs were first imported to India in the 18th century, from England.

Back then, India was a colony of England, so many of the most popular products in the country were imported by English merchants.

That includes a special beer developed by a British brewmaster named George Hodgson.

Hodgson’s brewery was right near the English docks that imported the country’s goods to India.

That made it easy to bring this beer into the country...where both English colonists and native Indians made it a thirst-quenching sensation that took the world by storm!2

QUENCH YOUR HAIR’S THIRST

But it turns out India pale ale is not just good for a parched throat on a hot day.

That’s because the formula for brewing beer includes both a fermented grain known as malt, and flowers from a climbing vinelike plant called hops.

“Malted barley is one of the most essential components of brewing a properly protein-rich beer”

Both these plant products are simply loaded with proteins…

...the essential building blocks you need for thick, sturdy, ready-to-style hair strands.

So, if your hair’s been dehydrated by weeks on end of punishing, high-intensity sunlight…

...these proteins will bind to your dried-out tresses...firming their structure, and restoring their vitality and flexibility!

If that wasn’t enough, IPA beers are also chock-full of B vitamins.

These vitamins fortify your cuticles...the outer layers of cells on your hair.

That makes them reflect much more light...giving your hair a satiny shine that’ll attract admiring looks and loving touches!

IPA / ACV HAIR RINSE

Now, if you’re looking for an undiluted burst of beer’s hair-invigorating goodness, you can always apply pure IPA, with no other ingredients, to your locks.

But we actually have gotten better results...and less of a beery smell...using this basic three-ingredient formula.

And the apple cider vinegar in this blend not only cuts down on the beer’s aroma.

It also contains healthy acids that maintain your scalp’s pH balance...keeping your hair’s vital natural oils at a consistently beneficial level.3

“The acetic acid found in apple cider vinegar is very close to the pH level of your scalp!”

Here’s all you need to make this “volume cocktail” for yourself:

  • ¼ cup of IPA beer
  • ¼ cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar

And here’s how you make and apply this classic Indian-English hair volumizer:

  1. Open the beer and let it sit for 30 minutes at room temperature, to settle the bubbles.4
  2. Mix the ingredients together in a container that’s easy to pour from.
  3. Then, shampoo and condition your hair as you normally do.
  4. Once you’ve rinsed off the conditioner, pour the mixture over your hair.
  5. Work in the mixture, using a comb or your fingers.
  6. Allow the beer mixture to set in your hair for 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. Then, rinse your hair thoroughly...and you’re well on your way to enhanced body, luster, and bounce!5

HERE’S TO YOUR HAIR

On those blistering summer days...when it feels hot enough to bake cookies on the sidewalk…

...sometimes, a crisp, refreshing beer can really make you come alive again.

But don’t forget:

That revitalizing zing can be just what dull, devolumized hair needs on a hot day, too!

So, a toast to the brewing geniuses of England and India, creators of the IPA.

They didn’t know it…

...but they were brewing up the power to fill your hair with life on even the hottest days!
