Here’s Why You Should Be Using A Multipurpose Beauty Oil

Nowadays, it seems like there are so many choices when it comes to picking a product that softens and smooths.

There are options for hair, face, and body—but few that can be used in more places than one.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a natural product you could use from head to toe?

Enter: Smoothe Healing Oil, a lightweight, oil-based, multipurpose softener that can be used on your hair AND your body.

But Why Should I Be Using Oils?

Oils don’t technically “hydrate” since they don’t draw moisture to the skin or hair.

They do however have occlusive and emollient properties which means:

Occlusive = a substance that seals or prevents moisture loss

Emollient = something that lubricates, softens, and protects

That said, oils are a great addition to any beauty routine for their ability to lock in moisture and add shine.

Natural oils are also a source of vitamins and antioxidants that treat a slew of skin and hair concerns, as well as protect against environmental damage.

What Is Smoothe Healing Oil?

Smoothe is an all natural blend of soybean, sweet almond, and peppermint oils that can be used on your hair and body.

Use Smoothe:

  • As a weekly pre-shampoo hair and scalp treatment that doesn't require heat
  • As a silkening bath oil or an in-shower body softener
  • To repair dry, cracked hands and feet
  • To soften and smooth dry, snaggly cuticles
  • To enhance your favorite conditioner or hair masque
  • Post-styling, apply the tiniest amount to dry hair to tame frizz, flyaways and add shine
  • As a tingly massage oil to soothe sore muscles
  • As a temple and scalp massage to ease tension and migraine headaches

What Do Smoothe's Ingredients Do For Me?

Soybean Oil - Is a non-greasy carrier oil (a base oil for diluting other, more-potent essential oils), which is rich in fatty acids, vitamins and manganese.

Soybean oil leaves hair super shiny and prevents moisture loss in both hair and skin.

Sweet Almond Oil - Also lightweight and healing, sweet almond oil is full of omega fatty acids, vitamin E and magnesium.

Almond oil is known for its reparative, softening, frizz-taming, shine-enhancing, dandruff-fighting, split-end mending, and hair growth-stimulating properties.

It also treats skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

Peppermint Oil - Containing naturally-occurring, cooling menthol, peppermint oil is also chock-full of nutrients, minerals, fatty acids and vitamins.

This tingly, refreshing oil possesses anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

Peppermint also increases blood circulation (promoting hair growth), eases scalp irritation and dandruff, balances oil production, and is a natural pain-reliever.

Smoothe Benefits For Hair:

Because it’s a lightweight mix of different oils, each with unique characteristics, Smoothe works well on all hair types.

Apply Smoothe to dry hair before shampooing to treat dry, damaged hair, strengthen strands, enhance shine and seal split-ends.

You can also mix a couple drops of Smoothe into your favorite conditioner or hair masque to intensify the treatment.

If you have a dry, itchy scalp or suffer from the occasional dandruff, apply Smoothe to your scalp and massage the product in. Leave it on for several minutes before shampooing.

You’ll love how soft, shiny, and healthy your hair looks and feels—you’ll also enjoy a comfier, dandruff-free scalp.

Smoothe Benefits For Skin & Body:

Use a capful of Smoothe in your bath to create a luxurious, skin-softening experience. Similarly, you can apply it to your skin in the shower and rinse at the very end.

Use it as a tingly massage oil to relieve sore, achy muscles after a workout.

Try applying a small amount to your fingertips and use it to massage your temples and or scalp at the onset of a tension or migraine headache.

The minty scent and tingly, cool menthol help to relieve stress and alleviate pain.

Smoothe makes an excellent treatment for dry, cracked hands and feet.

Try applying it at bedtime and covering your hands and feet with socks and gloves to help the oils penetrate overnight.

Lastly, apply it as a spot treatment to help soften and heal rough, jagged cuticles.

The list can go on and on.
